today’s item is something near and dear to my heart. some call it perfection, others call it a dream come true. i call it s’awesome. that’s right folks, today i give you…

Bacon!

i’m not talking about Kevin Bacon, nor Francis Bacon…although both are awesome in their own way, i mean who could forget kevin bacon’s legendary belly-flop off the dock at camp crystal lake in the original friday the 13th!?

i’m simply referring to good old fashioned bacon!  that would be nice to have right about now.

it’s very difficult to find a food that actually excites me or makes me want to keep eating until i essplode but bacon’s crispy, greasy goodness that often gives me gut rot is too good to pass up.  all the coffee/bacon indigestion is more than worth the price to pay for enjoying such a delicious treat.

some great ways to enjoy bacon:

• bacon a la mode

• bacon shake
• shake n’ bacon
