Hey folks, you should check out this concert series coming to Toronto called New Noise Live.
It features some really great up-and-coming artists from Canada(yes artists, not Will.I.Am types who fart into a Moog and call it music).
"The New Noise Live is a monthly showcase, providing a professional platform for independent Canadian artists to present their music to industry professionals and music fans alike."
I had the pleasure of creating the website for the series so you may think i'm a little biased, but you'd be wrong. As a music lover, this is the kind of monthly event i keep...

my hero of the day this time is very difficult for me to put into words. this week we here in canada lost not only a great politician (yes they do exist from time to time), but also a generally great man who truly loved our country and did everything he possibly could to make us the great nation he knows we can be.
