Senior Front End Developer : 2013-Present

As Senior Front End Developer at Ariad Communications I’ve been very fortunate to work on some brilliant projects with great clients and co-workers. Ariad’s focus is not only on doing great work but also doing work that inspires people and brands to affect positive change in their communities and the world at large.

I’ve developed several high-profile web campaigns for clients ranging from financial institutions to retail brands to global charities. My work consists mainly of html, css, javascript/jQuery as well as extensive work in CMS systems and php. Learning is a big part of the job as well and I am currently training in AngularJS & Code Igniter.

The best part of my job however is Ariad’s commitment to supporting global and local charities. One of Ariad’s closest partnerships is with Free the Children. Not only do we create online and other forms of marketing for them, but also employees are encouraged to travel around the world with Free the Children to get a first-hand glimpse of how our work benefits those in need. It’s truly inspiring to go to work every day.

Couch & Associates
Senior Digital Consultant : 2010-2013

As a Senior Digital Consultant at Couch & Associates, my responsibilities included designing and building high profile email campaigns and microsites for clients ranging from SMB to Fortune 500. More than just developing marketing solutions, I also met with clients to define their marketing needs and provided recommendations to help ensure the best performance on all their campaigns.

As a certified Eloqua consultant, I have experience working with CRM systems. I’ve built countless emails and landing pages for very large global campaigns such as product launches, customer satisfaction surveys and webinar registrations, to name a few.

I was involved in a number of Couch & Associates’ internal marketing initiatives as well that supported the company and also promoted charitable causes. I played a major role in the concept and development of mobile web apps that have been very successful for their clients and helped secure new clients as well. Two of the sites I’m proudest to have developed were microsites to generate awareness and donations for Movember and Autism Speaks in 2011.

Pinpoint Media Group
Web Developer/Graphic Designer : 2009-2010

From 2009-2010 I worked as the sole Web Designer/Developer for Pinpoint Media Group (since absorbed by iSign Media Corp.). I helped create websites and administrative web apps for large companies such as Carrier/Bryant, Mac’s/Couche-Tard & Giesecke & Devrient(G+D). I also created animated ads to be displayed in Mac’s Convenience Stores across Canada.

Terida Solutions
Web Designer/Developer : 2007-2009

From 2007-2009 I was the Lead Web Designer at Terida Systems in Toronto. That job allowed me to work on a lot of projects I’m very proud of, work in a professional fast-paced environment, as well as really expand my experience and love for the development side of things. I created full sites for multiple Community Care Access Centres across Ontario, multimedia presentations for Healthcare Conferences in Florida, Mexico and Africa, as well as worked on a site for the Cyril Ross Nursery, an HIV/AIDS orphanage for children in Trinidad. I mainly developed sites using Joomla CMS and in most cases was required to create PHP coding to extend the capabilities of the CMS. Other projects I worked on range from print work to trade-show merchandise to touchscreen multimedia presentations.
